Gift Art: Alejandra

While they were only passing through our area (as they were well on the way to a convention up in Pennsylvania) it was still an incredibly fun experience nonetheless. We got show the guys around downtown Baltimore for a good portion of the afternoon, and Shonuff44 even got to try out Fogo de Chao for the first time. For those who don't know what that is, it's an awesome Brazilian Steak House that I highly recommend going to if you have the chance.

Moving on though...

Since I had the group right in front of me, I figured I'd help commemorate the awesome occasion by providing Mr. Chalo with a couple of pieces of Gift Art. You see, for a long time, I've been a huge fan of the webcomic Las Lindas, and our leading cowgirls Mora and Alejandra have always been personal favorite characters of mine. With that said, I kicked out this quick little portrait of Alejandra first, and I'd like to think I captured some of Alejandra's reserved/dorky cuteness.

Much to my delight, Chalo said he absolutely loved it, took a photo of it, and made it the background on his phone, so I guess I did a good enough job.

Materials used for this piece was a Kurotake Medium Tip #8 brush pen on Bristol board.
