Greetings DA faithful! It's your friendly (and recovering) N8Dogg5k here to give you some progress updates, but first, boy oh boy did I just have a hum-dinger of a party.
As I'm sure most of you could tell, yesterday was my birthday, and for the first time in years, I had that day off from work, so I was celebrating with my family and some of my greatest friends such as
While some of my usual compatriots for such an occasion like and couldn't join, i know they were more than with me in spirit.
As the ice-breaker for the gathering I got to try out an awesomely fun new card game (Stay Away!) where someone is an eldritch type horror that's infecting the other players not too dissimilar to the film The Thing from John Carpenter. We played a ton of matches in fighting games (particularly King of Fighters 14 and Tekken 7) as well as some serious throw-downs in Puyo-Puyo Tetris.
Before we Move away from the party shenanigans, I do want to give thanks to all of those who wished me a Happy Birthday. Without a doubt I most certainly had a great time.
Now for some minor updates on things.
Commissions
Those of you who are on the commission list have been the most patient of people, and I can never thank you all enough for that. Trust me when I say that only a few of them are still being worked on, but I hope that as I've been posting them up on DA you all like what you see, and feel they were worth the wait. I'm pretty close to finishing most of the more demanding ones up, so with a little bit of elbow-grease (and a little bit of luck) I should be able to have them all done before September.
I again apologize to everyone on the list for it taking so long.
I never anticipated that it would take me this long to work down the list (which is mostly due to the factor that my regular job has a demanding schedule and tends to take up most of my time) but I'm glad that I'm at least steadily getting them done.
Blood Code Radio
Not exactly my most active project at the moment I'll admit, but I've been so busy with my regular job that I just haven't had time to sit down and record a new broadcast. More will be coming soon enough though, as I'm going to be making more of an effort to get others in on some fun/cool topics. I know that one of my last broadcasts was a bit more somber in tone, and I want to get back to the fun nerd talks of previous installments.
All the same, I'm glad that it's still a thing people are listening to, as I've been getting hit up about new shows in recent weeks.
Art Stream
The goal of creating an art stream has finally been met. Not only am I streaming now, I'm also doing it consistently. I won't deny that it's been an extremely helpful tool in keeping me active and on a regular schedule.
Even though I'm playing it safe and starting out slow with it, as I build my speed, with it will inevitably come more shows.
If anything else, I'm amazed that I pull an audience of my current size. Didn't think that I was notable enough to pull in close to thirty people for a single show.
Conventions
For those who are in the Baltimore area during August 11-13 I'll be attending Bronycon, selling work at the Roan RPG booth. I'll be joined by

Bronycon 2017
Greetings DA faithful, N8Dogg5k here, coming at you with a friendly reminder that I'm sure you can gather from the title.
It's that magical time of year again, where all the bronies and pegasisters of America (although it's more like the whole world now) gather to celebrate the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic at none other than Bronycon.
I'll be participating in the show, located at the Roan RPG booth (#617) where I'll be joined by my amazing friends ~mh47e (https://www.deviantart.com/mh47e) :iconbaron-engel: :iconshonuff44: :iconduckdraw: If you find yourself in the Baltimore area this weekend, feel free to drop into the BCC and say hi. The First Steps on a Long Road
Greetings DA faithful, N8Dogg5k here again, just giving the update on how Friday's debut stream event went.
First and foremost, I want to thank absolutely everyone who turned out for it, participated, and offered their words of encouragement. Secondly I want to make it known that, regardless of how good or bad this stream would've gone, this was just the beginning steps for me heading down what's set to be a (hopefully) long and fulfilling path. From this day forward, I will be streaming every-other Friday, starting at 3:00 pm EST. If you want to be a part of the show, you can follow my channel here.
More importantly, I want to thank my inc

I'll be marking this occasion by doing a co-stream with none other than the man, the myth, the legend *ShoNuff44 (https://www.deviantart.com/shonuff44) along with my ever awesome, and ever close friend :iconmh47e: as my charismatic co-host!
Join me on this most auspicious of moments in time, where I take the plunge and become just that much more legit as a professional artist.
The stream will start at 3:00 p.m. EST and will continue until I don't feel like stre
Blood Code Radio Broadcast 5 is online!
Greetings once again DA faithful!
The latest installment to BCR (Blood Code Radio) has just gone live. I'm joined by my good friends ~mh47e (https://www.deviantart.com/mh47e) and :icongwstoop: for an at length discussion about the latest release in the Shantae videogame series, along with the current resurgence we're seeing in regards to 2-D style gaming in the mainstream/independent game markets.
Before tuning in though, I'd like to disclose that Geoff and I were backers to the Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero kickstarter.
I'd also like to extend an advanced apology for the somewhat garbled sound quality on this broadcast. We were at Magfest at the time of the recording, and th
